Kristen Arledge (Design and Print Expert):

My name is Kristen Arledge and I am a design and print expert. I have known that I wanted to be a graphic designer since I was six years old. As a child I spent much of my time on the computer making posters and brochures for made-up businesses. I even made magazines using photos I took on school field trips. I taught myself InDesign and became the designer of my middle school's
student-led newspaper. In high school, I took four levels of Graphic Communications. I was awarded four PICA Awards during this time. I then went on to study Graphic Communications at Midlands Technical College. I have worked in many different areas of the print and design industry including screen printing, large format, digital, and bindery. While my position at each of these jobs has been ‘graphic designer,’ I have learned the ins and outs of each of these businesses. I am passionate about all that this industry entails and am always eager to provide quality work for my customers.
